Alan Pitcairn and Emily Pitcairn (Bau-Madsen) Holding an Eisenhower Campaign Sign

Title

Alan Pitcairn and Emily Pitcairn (Bau-Madsen) Holding an Eisenhower Campaign Sign

Subject

Eisenhower campaign

Description

Nathan's children. At Glen Tonche. Note on back of photo reads, "Alan composed the slogan and did the lettering on this slogan. The bicycle idea, I think, gave the "Citizens for Eisenhower" the idea of bicycle teams of older teenagers who will help the campaign in some places by door to door canvass. They expect to go to Washington and probably get a send-off from the President."
